To enter your registration code, click Help->Register... menu command.

Use Toolbar for quick access to the basic operations.
Use Capture Bar for quick access to the capture commands and main capture settings.
To include the mouse cursor into capture, check the 'Capture includes cursor' checkbox on the Options->Preferences->Main page or use the corresponding Capture Bar button.
To hide the main window before capture, check the 'Hide before capture' checkbox on the Options->Preferences->Main page.
Use the hotkeys to capture the menus, cursors, splash-screens, tooltips and the other popup windows.
You can capture both a single window and a group of windows.
You can capture a mouse cursor and save it as a .CUR file.
You can capture a simple videos and save it as .AVI files.

You can configure Mr. Captor by clicking the Options->Preferences and setting the parameters needed.
You can change the current savings by clicking the Options->Savings and setting the parameters needed.
Keep your eyes on the Status Bar when moving the cursor, it usually tells you what will happen if you click the mouse.
You can just drop image from a folder onto Mr. Captor and the program will open it.

You can select a region more precisely with help of Lens. Show the Lens by clicking on Show Lens context menu command.
You can change the Lens size and enlargement factor.
We don't recommend you to capture large videos or the games that use DirectX or OpenGL technologies. If you want to do that you probably need another software and/or hardware.
Use Timer to capture the animated images.
You can create simple demonstrations by using the video-capture feature. Set the video-capture mode, select a region to capture, and do something inside that region while the timer is on.
Reduce the number of colors in the image to make its size smaller.
GIF, ICO and CUR files can have a transparent color. Use the transparent Wizard to select a transparent color you wish.
You can edit an image located into the working area by using both the built-in image editor and an external image editor.
You can setup your favorite image editor as external one on the Options->Preferences->Other page.
Click the right mouse button on the program's icon in the system tray to invoke the context menu, containing the capture commands.

Color-capture feature lets you an opportunity to capture a color at any point of the screen.
You can send an image by E-mail, using both SMTP and MAPI modes. Go to the Options->Prefernces->Other page and set the appropriate mode.
You can preview and print current image by using the File menu commands.
To resize the image invoke the Edit->Resize... dialog.
To convert the color depth of image invoke the Edit->Convert... dialog.
If you select a region inside the working area, the following edit commands will affect only this region: Save, E-mail, Image Editor, External Editor, As HTML background.
You can control the Clipboard formats and the other Clipboard settings on the Options->Preferences->Clipboard page.
You can click the View->Status Bar command to turn off the status bar if you no longer require it or you want to have a bit more room for your images. Click again to turn it back on.
